Florida Plants of the Year, 2000

 

For the fourth year, the Florida Nurserymen and Growers Association have announced a group of plants designated as "Florida Plants of the Year." The list is selected from plants nominated by members of the association, and are rarely new to the industry since the criteria call for easy availability and proven worth in actual use. The plants are often those which members of the selection panel feel are underutilised and deserving of wider use. This years selections are presented below.
